Job summary

IIFL Home Finance Ltd. in Mumbai invites an experienced treasury professional to lead capital markets activities and manage liquidity and funding strategies.

You will handle regulatory compliance for NCDs, CPs and ECBs, coordinate with merchant bankers, registrars, depositories and exchanges, and build strong investor relationships. The role focuses on governance, risk-aware decision making, and cost reduction through accurate cashflow forecasting and prudent investments.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury operations and capital markets.
• Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge for NCDs/CP/ECB.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Track record of cost optimization and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-issue and post-issue compliance of NCD, CP and ECB issuance.
• Prepare GID/KID and public issue prospectus.
• Coordinate with merchant bankers, registrar, depository, stock exchange and lead arrangers.
• Strengthen relationships with mutual funds, insurers, financial institutions and bankers.
• Track markets and interest rate/liquidity scenarios; optimize liability risk/return.
• Execute transactions from investor interactions; assist diligence to term sheet finalization and disbursement.
• Drive interest cost reduction initiatives and cashflow forecasting.
• Manage surplus funds through board-approved investments and treasury MIS.
• Ensure treasury governance framework and compliance with policies.

Job description

Functional Responsibilities / KPIs:-

• Resource mobilisation from Capital Market and Financial Intuitions
• Relationship with Mutual Funds/ Treasury of Public sector Bank/ Private Sector/Foreign banks/Financial Intuitions treasury, Capital Market intermediaries, Merchant Bankers etc.
• Understanding of regulations of NCDs, Commercial Paper, PTC and ECB
• Proven capability to Deliver Outcome’ with focus on integrity, ethics and governance
• Networking & negotiation skills
• Must have good communication skills; both oral & written

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the pre-issue and post issue compliance of NCD, CP and ECB issuance.
• Preparation of GID/KID, Public Issue prospectus
• Coordination with Merchant Bankers, Registrar, Depository, stock Exchange, Lead Arrangers etc.
• Strengthen relationships with Mutual Fund, Insurance companies, Financial Institutions, bankers, external and internal stakeholders
• Tracking of markets and interest rate/liquidity scenario and optimizing the risks vs. return on the overall liability side of the balance sheet
• Execution of transactions from investor/lender interaction, deal structuring, assisting investor diligence till term sheet finalization and disbursement
• Driving Interest cost reduction initiatives and other advisors Cashflow forecasting and managing surplus funds through investments in board approved investment options Treasury Reporting and MIS for ALM on regular basis.
• Deployment of the Treasury governance framework and guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policy, procedures, and guidelines.
