Title : Manager CSR
1. CSR Fundraising & Business Development
- Identify, research and develop new CSR funding opportunities for CanKids.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective corporate partners.
- Develop strategies for approaching companies, foundations and corporate trusts.
- Initiate outreach and establish relationships with key decision-makers and CSR teams.
- Secure meetings and opportunities to present CanKids' programmes and impact.
- Work towards achieving annual CSR fundraising and partnership targets.
- Identify opportunities for multi-year and strategic partnerships.
2. Corporate Partnership Development
- Develop meaningful and long-term partnerships with corporate organisations.
- Understand the CSR priorities, focus areas and expectations of prospective partners.
- Match corporate priorities with relevant CanKids programmes and interventions.
- Develop customised partnership opportunities and proposals.
- Lead discussions with prospective corporate partners in coordination with senior management.
- Support negotiations and closure of CSR partnerships
3. Relationship Management & Partner Stewardship
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned CSR partners.
- Build strong and professional relationships with corporate partners.
- Maintain regular engagement with existing partners throughout the year.
- Ensure partners receive timely updates on programme progress and impact.
- Identify opportunities for partnership renewal and expansion.
- Plan and coordinate partner visits, programme visits and engagement opportunities.
- Ensure a positive and meaningful experience for corporate partners associated with CanKids.
4. CSR Proposal Development
- Lead the development of high-quality and customised CSR proposals.
- Work closely with programme teams to identify fundable projects and interventions.
- Develop concept notes, proposals, presentations and partnership documents.
- Ensure proposals clearly communicate:
- The need and problem statement
- CanKids' intervention
- Expected outcomes
- Beneficiary reach
- Project implementation plan
- Budget requirements
- Expected social impact
- Ensure proposals are aligned with the CSR priorities of prospective partners.
5. Existing Partnership Growth & Renewals
- Develop strategies to strengthen and grow existing CSR relationships.
- Track partnership timelines and upcoming renewal opportunities.
- Initiate timely renewal discussions with existing partners.
- Identify opportunities for increased funding and additional programme support.
- Develop renewal proposals and impact presentations.
- Work towards converting one-time partnerships into long-term relationships.
6. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Programme, Finance, MEL, Communications and Leadership teams.
- Coordinate with programme teams to develop CSR-ready projects and proposals.
- Work with Finance teams on project budgets and financial requirements.
- Coordinate with MEL teams for impact data and programme outcomes.
- Work with Communications teams to develop partner engagement and visibility material.
- Ensure all partner commitments and requirements are communicated effectively to internal stakeholders
7. Reporting & Impact Communication
- Ensure timely coordination of narrative and impact reports for CSR partners.
- Support the preparation of high-quality partner reports and presentations.
- Communicate programme achievements and impact regularly to partners.
- Ensure partner reporting requirements and timelines are properly tracked.
- Use beneficiary stories, programme data and impact evidence to strengthen partner engagement.
8. Pipeline Management & MIS
- Maintain an updated database of prospective and existing corporate partners.
- Track the complete CSR partnership journey from lead generation to closure and renewal.
- Maintain regular updates on:
- New leads
- Meetings
- Proposals submitted
- Follow-ups
- Partnerships under discussion
- Funds committed
- Partnerships secured
- Renewals
- Prepare regular pipeline and fundraising reports for senior management.
- Analyse the pipeline and recommend strategies to improve conversion and partnership growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The performance of the CSR Manager will be measured against:
- CSR fundraising targets achieved.
- Number and quality of new corporate leads generated.
- Number of meetings and meaningful corporate engagements.
- Number of proposals submitted.
- Conversion of prospects into CSR partnerships.
