Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in India is seeking a TM – RAN Performance professional to analyze KPIs across 2G/4G/5G and drive network optimization to enhance voice and data experience.

The role involves troubleshooting, drive-test support, collaboration with zonal teams, and in-depth end-to-end KPI analysis on Nokia-based networks.

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, 6+ years in telecom, and hands-on experience with DT/TEMS/NEMO; exposure to TRAI/DOT audits is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2G/3G/4G/VoLTE optimization on Nokia
• 6+ years in telecom network/field optimization
• Hands-on with DT/Post processing tools NEMO, TEMS
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot KPI degradation
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the 2G/4G/5G KPI statistics and monitoring the network for troubleshooting on daily basis
• Supporting RF drive test optimization of new/existing sites
• Troubleshooting of worst-performing cells and KPI trend analysis
• Perform in-depth analysis of performance End-to-End KPIs and propose actions to improve network performance
• Coordinate with Zonal optimization team and support experience improvement initiatives
• Good understanding of Nokia hardware from network design perspective
• Provide network optimization analysis and recommendations using drive data and network statistics
• Assisting TRAI/DOT in RF network audits and preparing required network quality reports

Job Purpose

• This role is responsible for supporting the Network Quality function by effectively analysing KPIs for improving Network Performance, Optimization and Experience management to provide superior Voice and Data experience to the customer

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Analyzing the 2G/4G/5G KPI's (key performance indicators) statistics and monitoring the network for troubleshooting on daily basis.
• Supporting RF drive test optimization of new/existing sites.
• Troubleshooting of worst-performing cells. Analysis of counters and monitoring KPI trend to pinpoint exact issues.
• Perform in-depth analysis of performance E2E KPIs. Propose technology actions to improve Network performance and CXX
• Coordination with Zonal optimization team in sharing analysis and supporting them in experience improvement initiatives
• Good understanding of hardware(Nokia) from network design prospective
• Provide network optimization analysis and recommendations using a combination of drive data and network statistics
• Assisting TRAI/DOT in RF network audit & preparing required network quality reports.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• In-depth technical knowledge in radio network parameters & optimization (2G/3G/4G/VoLTE) on Nokia system
• Excellent domain knowledge and on- field optimization experience
• Hands on experience with DT/Post processing tools like NEMO, TEMS etc
• Very good analytical skills to trouble shoot network quality KPI degradation/ customer complaints, Innovative , Ambitious and competitive, Calculated risk taking & task oriented
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure and having very good cross functional co-ordination
• Depth analysis for L2 & L3 layer data
• Transmission trouble shooting

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications with 6+ years of experience
