Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Baramati is seeking a Manager Costing & MIS to lead cost accounting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting. The role requires CMA/ICWA and SAP/S4 HANA knowledge with a focus on robust cost control.

You will oversee product costing, inventory costing, cost audits, and MIS development while mentoring the costing team and ensuring budgeting discipline. Manufacturing costing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Product costing, standard vs actual variance analysis, and profitability reporting
• Preparation of product-wise cost sheets for tenders and management review
• Identify loss-making products and drive cost optimization
• Monthly inventory valuation of RM, PM, WIP, FG
• Physical stock verification, reconciliation, and material balancing
• Inventory ageing, re-order level, yield, and input-output analysis
• Cost Audit data preparation, CAS-4 certification, PAPA, quantity reconciliation
• Coordination with Cost Auditor and Financial Auditor
• Monthly plant profitability reports, forecasts, and projections
• Labour, material, overhead variance analysis
• Budget vs Actual analysis (domestic and export)
• MIS reports for management and CEO
• Budget review, pricing analysis, and cost proposal validation
• Ensure adherence to approved budgets and cost control practices
• Lead and mentor the costing team
• Training on budgeting and pricing practices

Responsibilities

Costing & Product Profitability

• Product costing, standard vs actual variance analysis, and profitability reporting
• Preparation of product-wise cost sheets for tenders and management review
• Identify loss-making products and drive cost optimization

Inventory Costing & Control

• Monthly inventory valuation of RM, PM, WIP, FG
• Physical stock verification, reconciliation, and material balancing
