Job summary

The candidate should be CMA/ICWA qualified with strong SAP/S/4HANA experience and a track record in budgeting, pricing, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in costing, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
• Strong MIS and management reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Costing & product profitability: analyze standard vs actual costs and report profitability.
• Inventory costing & control: value RM/PM/WIP/FG monthly; verify stock and reconcile.
• Cost audit & compliance: prepare CAS-4 data and coordinate with auditors.
• Reporting & MIS: generate monthly plant profitability, variance analyses, budgets vs actuals.
• Business financial operations: review budgets, pricing analysis, and cost controls.
• Team leadership: mentor costing team and train on budgeting and pricing.

Responsibilities

Costing & Product Profitability

• Product costing, standard vs actual variance analysis, and profitability reporting
• Preparation of product-wise cost sheets for tenders and management review
• Identify loss-making products and drive cost optimization

Inventory Costing & Control

• Monthly inventory valuation of RM, PM, WIP, FG
• Physical stock verification, reconciliation, and material balancing
• Inventory ageing, re-order level, yield, and input-output analysis

Cost Audit & Compliance

• Cost Audit data preparation, CAS-4 certification, PAPA, quantity reconciliation
• Coordination with Cost Auditor and Financial Auditor

Reporting & MIS

• Monthly plant profitability reports, forecasts, and projections
• Labour, material, overhead variance analysis
• Budget vs Actual analysis (domestic and export)
• MIS reports for management and CEO

Business Financial Operations

• Budget review, pricing analysis, and cost proposal validation
• Ensure adherence to approved budgets and cost control practices

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the costing team
• Training on budgeting and pricing practices
