Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Analyze costing and monitor actual vs budgeted costs
• Perform product/process cost analysis and variance explanations
• Monitor material, labour, production, and overhead costs
• Analyze production and operational data in SAP
• Maintain costing data and reporting in SAP
• Support monthly closing and management reporting
• Coordinate data collection with Plant, Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales and Finance teams
• Identify cost reduction and process-improvement opportunities
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required
• Visit the plant to understand costing and operations frameworks

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Preparation and analysis of costing reports
• Product-wise / process-wise cost analysis
• Monitoring of actual vs. budgeted costs and highlighting variances
• Preparation of variance analysis and providing reasons for deviations
• Monitoring of material, labour, production, and overhead costs
• Analysis of production and operational data from SAP
• Maintaining and updating costing-related data and reports in SAP
• Supporting monthly closing and management reporting
• Preparation of profitability and contribution analysis
• Coordination with the Plant, Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Finance teams for data collection and validation
• Identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement
• Ensuring accuracy and timely submission of MIS and costing reports to management
• Supporting management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required
• Visiting the plant to understand production processes, costing, and operational requirements frameworks.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA-Inter and 2 to 5 years experience
• Or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing and 5 plus years of experience
