Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Baramati invites CMA/ICWA qualified professionals for a Manager Costing & MIS role in our cost accounting team. The position focuses on costing, profitability analysis, MIS reporting, and cost control across domestic and export operations.

Strong leadership and proficiency in SAP and S/4HANA are essential for driving cost optimization. The ideal candidate will oversee product costing, inventory costing, cost audits, and management reporting, while mentoring the costing

Qualifications

• Qualification: CMA / ICWA is required.
• CMA/ICWA Inter candidates are not suitable.

Responsibilities

• Product costing, variance analysis, profitability reporting.
• Prepare product-wise cost sheets for tenders and reviews.
• Identify loss-making products and implement cost optimizations.
• Monthly valuation of RM/PM/WIP/FG.
• Verify physical stock, reconcile discrepancies, balance materials.
• Analyse inventory ageing, reorder levels, yield and input-output.
• Prepare cost audit data, CAS-4, PAPA, quantity reconciliation.
• Coordinate with cost and financial auditors.
• Monthly plant profitability reports, forecasts and projections.
• Analyse labour, material and overhead variances.
• Budget vs actual analysis for domestic and export.
• MIS reports for management and CEO.
• Budget review, pricing analysis, cost proposal validation.
• Ensure adherence to budgets and cost control practices.
• Lead and mentor the costing team.
• Provide training on budgeting and pricing practices.

Responsibilities

Costing & Product Profitability

• Product costing, standard vs actual variance analysis, and profitability reporting


• Preparation of product-wise cost sheets for tenders and management review


• Identify loss-making products and drive cost optimization

Inventory Costing & Control

• Monthly inventory valuation of RM, PM, WIP, FG


• Physical stock verification, reconciliation, and material balancing


• Inventory ageing, re-order level, yield, and input-output analysis

Cost Audit & Compliance

• Cost Audit data preparation, CAS-4 certification, PAPA, quantity reconciliation


• Coordination with Cost Auditor and Financial Auditor

Reporting & MIS

• Monthly plant profitability reports, forecasts, and projections


• Labour, material, overhead variance analysis


• Budget vs Actual analysis (domestic and export)


• MIS reports for management and CEO

Business Financial Operations
