Job summary

R2R Consults in Mumbai is seeking a cost estimator/cost controller to manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.

The role involves building budgets, monitoring variances and coordinating with Estimation, Contracts, Purchase, Design and Project teams to drive value for projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to develop cost heads and WBS for projects.
• Familiarity with ERP-based budgeting and financial workflows.
• Analytical skills for variance analysis and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates, budgets and cost benchmarks.
• Develop cost heads/WBS and upload budgets into ERP.
• Monitor Budget vs Actual, cash flow and project profitability.
• Track ERP workflow: PR/SR WO/PO GRN/Abstract Billing Payment.
• Validate BOQs, contractor bills, variations and approved rates/quantities.
• Prepare MCR, MIS dashboards, variance analysis and cost forecasts.
• Identify cost overruns/savings and drive value engineering & cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Estimation, Contracts, Purchase, Design and Project teams.
• Support audits and ensure ERP/cost-control process compliance.
