Job summary

Oberoi Realty in Mumbai seeks a Team Lead - Estimation & Budgeting (MEP) with a B.E. in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of experience in estimation, budgeting, cost planning and cost monitoring for construction projects.

You will prepare project estimates, develop budgets, review cost impacts from design changes, and support cost monitoring throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with design, project, contracts, procurement and planning teams.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Civil Engineering is required.

Experience: 8+ Years in Estimation, Budgeting, Cost Planning, and Cost Monitoring for Construction Projects

The Team Lead - Estimation & Budgeting is responsible for preparing project estimates, developing budgets, reviewing cost impacts arising from design changes, and supporting cost monitoring activities throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires close coordination with Design, Project, Contracts, Procurement, and Planning teams to ensure accurate budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial control of projects.

• 1. Estimation & Budgeting
• a. Study the Details provided by Design Team.
• b. Workout Quantities from Drawings / Constants Provided by Consultants.
• c. Rate Analysis / Extrapolation of Rates for items where current rates are not available.
• 2. Estimation & Cost Review Reports
• a. Workout Quantities from Revised / New Drawings and compare with earlier versions.
• b. Assisting in Preparation of Cost Review Reports.
• 3. Cost Monitoring and Tracking
• a. Monitoring Actual Cost Incurred against Project Budget.
• b. Tracking Project Budget against Work Order / Purchase Order issued.
• 4. Cost Forecast & Business Plan
• a. In co-ordination with Project Team prepare Business Plan for FY.
• b. In co-ordination with Project Team prepare monthly Cost Forecast .
