Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Senior Costing Specialist based in Bengaluru to lead costing for Electrical & Electronics components, including BOM breakdowns and should-cost models. The role focuses on cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate part and vehicle cost estimation.

You will benchmark competitors, drive cost optimization with design teams, and support make vs buy analyses. BE/B.Tech is required with 10–12 years of experience in automotive costing.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech required with strong costing experience in E/E components.
• Experience with BOM breakdowns, should-cost models and variance analysis.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams on cost initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed cost structures (BOM breakdowns, raw material indexing, should-cost models, variance vs target/actual).
• Manage change control costing and assess impact on part, system, and vehicle cost.

• Perform profitability analysis and support make vs buy decisions.
• Own monthly material cost reporting at vehicle and system level.
