Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a cost engineering professional to perform product teardown and should-cost analysis for electromechanical components used in automotive or energy equipment.

You will lead VAVE workshops, collaborate with design, sourcing and suppliers to optimize cost, support early cost estimation in new product development, and analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost engineering for electromechanical components.
• Lead cost optimization through VAVE workshops.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost.
• 3-8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains.
• Familiarity with COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER.

Job DescriptionSeeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown, Should Costing, VAVE, benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency.

• Experience in costing of mechanical parts assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...
• Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations
