Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Gurugram District is looking for a candidate responsible for costing, quote analysis, and negotiation strategies with suppliers. The role requires a deep understanding of vehicle cost analysis and excellent communication skills.

Candidates should have the ability to generate innovative proposals and weight reduction ideas while being a self-initiator and team player. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Costing, quote analysis, making costing & negotiation strategies.
• Teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part benchmarking.
• Vehicle Cost Analysis, P&L understanding, and preparation.
• Generation of innovative value enhancement & design to cost proposals.
• Techno-commercial knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
• Self-initiator, team player with a passion for analysis.
• Generating cost/weight reduction & new technology ideas.
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal/Written/Reports).
• Microsoft Power BI knowledge is an added advantage.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Costing [ZBC], quote analysis, making costing & negotiation strategies and negotiation with suppliers.
• Teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking and techno-commercial comparison, analysis of following [Wiring Harness [ LV/HV], Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage compressor, ADAS, Sensors etc.].
• Vehicle Cost Analysis, P&L understanding, and preparation etc.
• Generation of innovative value enhancement & design to cost proposal.
• Techno commercial knowledge of:
• Should be a self-initiator, team player and passionate about analysis and design intent.
• Should be able in generation of cost/weight reduction & new technology ideas.
• Should be having excellent communication skills [Verbal/Written/Reports etc.].
• Microsoft power BI will be added advantage.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Thorough technical as well commercial knowledge of all aspects of all automotive /Electrical systems/subsystems/parts.
2. Plan and schedule activities in advance.
3. Ability to communicate with Peers/Vendors/Machine Makers etc.
4. Positive attitude with willingness to undertake new initiatives.
