Job summary

DMart is seeking an Associate Manager / Manager- Civil Maintenance to oversee the repair and upkeep of civil assets across stores in the region, including building, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, painting, fabrication, and glazing.

The role collaborates with store teams to diagnose defects, coordinate with vendors, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure zero leakages through waterproofing and drainage improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Civil Maintenance
• Experience in maintaining civil assets like buildings, waterproofing, painting, tiling, fabrication
• Strong coordination with stores and vendors to ensure quality and timely work

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep civil assets of stores in the region (building/plumbing/waterproofing/tiling/painting/fabrication/glazing).
• Coordinate with stores to identify defects and propose solutions
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion with focus on quality
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance/repairs to reduce defects and leakage

1. Maintenance and Upkeep of Civil Assets of the stores in the region (Building / Plumbing / Waterproofing / Tiling / Painting / Fabrication / Glazing etc.).
2. Extensive engagement with the store team in case of reported defects to identify likely cause and suggest solutions to tackle the same.
3. Co-ordinate with stores to carry out various activities related to waterproofing, roof gutters, drainages, etc to have zero leakages in stores.
4. Coordination with vendors to ensure timely completion of work with focus on quality.
5. Plan and monitor preventive maintenance / repair requirements
