Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech) is required.
• Certification in Planning or Quantity Surveying is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction billing and quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify client RA Bills and Final Bills; review subcontractor/vendor bills.
• Coordinate with project, finance and client teams for timely bill certification and payments.
• Track receivables and outstanding payments; monitor costs in MIS reports.
• Prepare project schedules using MS Project/Primavera and monitor progress against milestones.
• Develop weekly/monthly progress reports and identify delays with corrective actions.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, project cost sheets and budgeting.
• Study tender documents, prepare technical/commercial submissions and bid documentation.
• Review contracts, work orders, and purchase orders; monitor variations and claims.
• Present project performance reports to management and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Billing

• Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Develop BOQs and detailed cost estimates.

• Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Tendering

• Study tender documents, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations.
• Conduct comparative analysis of quotations.
• Prepare tender costing and bid documentation.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders.

Contract Management

• Review contracts, work orders, and purchase orders.
• Monitor contract compliance and project variations.
• Prepare variation orders and extra item claims.
• Maintain documentation related to contracts and project records.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare project MIS reports.
• Monitor project costs, billing status, and profitability.
• Present project performance reports to management.
• Maintain documentation and records for audits.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
• Additional certification in Planning or Quantity Surveying will be an advantage.
