Job summary

KUKU is seeking a finance professional to oversee FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for its fast-growing e-commerce ecosystem. You will act as a financial partner to category and business teams, driving data-driven decisions.

You will own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, track key metrics, and collaborate with product, marketing and finance to improve reporting, controls and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA (Finance) from a top-tier college
• 3–4 years in FP&A or commercial finance in consumer internet / D2C / ecommerce
• Strong P&L ownership mindset
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Ability to translate financial analysis into business decisions

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner and provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions

About The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, month-end reporting and supporting the set-up of business processes and control.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to category/business teams, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units
• - Track and analyze key business and financial metrics (revenue, margins, unit economics, etc.)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams
• Develop and implement strong financial controls and processes for improved financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present monthly financial updates to key stakeholders, providing insights on financial performance and trends.

Who is the best fit?

• Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) from a tier 1 MBA college.
• 3 –4 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance — ideally in a consumer internet, marketplace, services, or high-growth D2C/e-commerce business
• Strong P&L ownership mindset — you should be as comfortable owning the moving pieces of a P&L as reporting on them
• Strong business acumen to understand the business requirements
• High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; ability to build clean, formula-driven models without relying on manual overrides
• Ability to work directly with business leaders — translating financial analysis into decisions, not just reporting numbers
