Job summary

KUKU is seeking a Finance FP&A professional to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for high-growth business units in Bengaluru. You will partner with business teams to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and improve financial performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in FP&A or commercial finance, with strong Excel skills and a proven track record of translating numbers into actionable business decisions within a consumer internet context.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA (Finance) from a tier 1 college.
• 3–4 years of experience in FP&A, or commercial finance — ideally in consumer internet, marketplace, services, or high-growth D2C/e-commerce.
• Strong P&L ownership mindset with ability to own and report on P&L.
• Strong business acumen to understand business requirements.
• High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; build clean models without manual overrides.
• Translate financial analysis into decisions, not just numbers.

About The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, month-end reporting and supporting the set-up of business processes and control.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to category/business teams, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units
• - Track and analyze key business and financial metrics (revenue, margins, unit economics, etc.)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams
• Develop and implement strong financial controls and processes for improved financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present monthly financial updates to key stakeholders, providing insights on financial performance and trends.

Who is the best fit?

• Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) from a tier 1 MBA college.
• 3 –4 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance — ideally in a consumer internet, marketplace, services, or high-growth D2C/e-commerce business
• Strong P&L ownership mindset — you should be as comfortable owning the moving pieces of a P&L as reporting on them
• Strong business acumen to understand the business requirements
• High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; ability to build clean, formula-driven models without relying on manual overrides
• Ability to work directly with business leaders — translating financial analysis into decisions, not just reporting numbers
