Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata is seeking a Manager Business Consulting - IT to partner with Sales and Supply teams, manage SAP and non-SAP life cycles, and deliver value across the RSE region.

You will lead requirements gathering, design SAP solutions, coordinate ABAP work, test, and deploy, while identifying process gaps and driving end-to-end support for SD, MM/PP/PM, Procurement, FI/CO modules.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP SD implementations.
• Strong understanding of Sales and Supply processes.
• Willingness to travel and work in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a core project team member in the implementation of SAP and non-SAP applications, including system interfaces, across the RSE region
• Own the application development lifecycle for assigned initiatives by gathering requirements, translating them into SAP designs, developing functional specs, configuring SAP solutions, collaborating with ABAP developers, testing, UAT, and deployment
• Identify process gaps and propose workarounds where required
• Provide end-to-end SAP application support for Sales and Supply modules such as SD, MM/PP/PM, Procurement, SAP authorisations, FI/CO areas
• Maintain accurate system documentation including business requirements, solution designs, configuration details, and user/training manuals
• Act as a business process specialist for Sales and Supply processes including OTC, PTP, R2R and master data management
• Collaborate with Global IT teams, Shared Services, regional and country IT teams, and external vendors to ensure project delivery and support

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role you will participate as a core project team member in the implementation of SAP and non-SAP applications, including system interfaces, across the RSE region
• Further you will own the application development lifecycle for assigned initiatives by working with business users to gather and document requirements, translating them into SAP process designs, developing the functional specifications, configuring SAP solutions, collaborating closely with ABAP developers for custom developments, performing system testing, supporting user acceptance test and ensuring successful deployment.
• Furthermore, you will identify process gaps and propose workarounds where required
• Moreover, you will provide end-to-end SAP application support for Sales and Supply systems across the relevant modules (e.g. SD, MM/PP/PM, Procurement, SAP authorisations, integrated FI/CO areas), including issue troubleshooting, user training, data cleansing and post go-live support
• Further you will maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, including business requirements, solution designs, configuration details and user/training manuals
• Moreover, you will act as a business process specialist by maintaining a strong understanding of Sales and Supply processes including OTC, PTP, R2R and master data management
• Additionally, you will collaborate with Global IT teams (including GIMS, BASIS, Release Management, TCOE, Global Business Consulting), Shared Services, regional and country IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery and support

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• For this role you will have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or other disciplines with strong interest in business consulting and a solid understanding of IT and business applications
• Further you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in system implementations, particularly in SAP SD
• Furthermore, you have a strong business knowledge and understanding of Sales and Supply processes
• Additionally, you have the ability to work in a global environment and travel as required
