Linde Global Support Services Pvt. Ltd in Kolkata, India, is seeking a Senior Specialist – SAP Ariba Buying to provide global support and drive enhancements for SAP Ariba and ECC/S4 projects.

You will work with business teams, external providers, and stakeholders to deliver compliant, integrated solutions. The role demands a strong background in SAP Ariba Buying with 3+ years in related areas, and experience across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Training or certification in related technology or process areas is desirable.
• Total SAP experience of 5+ years with 3+ years in SAP Ariba Buying and SAP ECC/S4.
• Experience in full project lifecycle implementation and system support.
• Strong communication and cross-team coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide third-level functional support for SAP Ariba Buying and SAP ECC/S4.
• Analyze procurement-related requirements and translate into specs.
• Design and implement functional solutions for buying processes in SAP Cloud and on-prem.
• Collaborate with business teams and external providers to ensure compliant, integrated solutions.
• Deliver solutions using SAP standard capabilities and best practices.
• Coordinate implementation of new functionality per project guidelines.
• Communicate project progress and elevate risks promptly to stakeholders.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• You will provide third-level functional support for SAP Ariba module and SAP ECC /S4, prepare functional specifications and process change requests.
• Furthermore, you will analyse procurement-related business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Your role includes designing, building, and implementing functional solutions for Buying processes in SAP Cloud and On-premises systems
• You will work closely with business teams, stakeholders, and external service providers to deliver reliable, secure, and integrated solutions that meet compliance standards.
• Your responsibility also will be to deliver solutions based on state-of-the-art SAP standard system capabilities, technical standards and best practices
• You will coordinate the implementation of new functionality in SAP Systems and other supporting applications according to Linde plc project management guidelines
• Also, timely complete project deliverables, communicate project progress and elevate risks and issues timely to key project stakeholders

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You possess a bachelor’s degree in business informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute
• Formal training and/or Certification in related technology or process areas would be desired
• Should have overall 5+ years total in SAP with 3+ years of relevant SAP Ariba Buying and SAP ECC / S4 experience working with reputed companies
• You should have deep technical expertise in a specific area or broad experience of multiple areas related to the Service being delivered
  Full project lifecycle implementation and system support experience
• Must possess experience of having worked in medium to large team is preferable. Acted as a point of contact for customers and responsible for technical issues in previous engagement preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English (speaking and writing) and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and across different time zones and competence to communicate with management and colleagues outside the organisation
• Also have strong customer focus and Intercultural experience
• Proficient in applying templates, standards, and methodologies
