Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is hiring a Manager Business Consulting - IT.

The role acts as a business-facing IT partner, managing SAP and non‑SAP lifecycles for Sales and Supply processes across the RSE region. On-site work arrangement applies. You will lead requirements, translate them into SAP designs, coordinate with ABAP developers, and provide end-to-end SAP support while documenting processes and collaborating with Global IT teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in system implementations, particularly SAP SD.
• Strong business knowledge and understanding of Sales and Supply processes.
• Ability to work in a global environment and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a core project team member in the implementation of SAP and non‑SAP applications across the RSE region.
• Own the application development lifecycle for assigned initiatives with business users; translate requirements into SAP designs and specs.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments and perform system testing.
• Provide end-to-end SAP application support for Sales and Supply modules; handle troubleshooting and user training.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation and business process knowledge.
• Coordinate with Global IT teams and regional/country IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• Inthis role you will participate as a core project team member in theimplementationof SAP and non-SAP applications, including systeminterfaces, across the RSE region
• Furtheryou will own the application development lifecycle for assignedinitiatives by working with business users to gather and documentrequirements, translating them into SAP process designs, developing thefunctional specifications, configuring SAP solutions, collaboratingclosely with ABAP developers for custom developments, performing systemtesting, supporting user acceptance test and ensuring successfuldeployment
• Furthermore, you will identify process gaps and propose workarounds whererequired
• Moreover,you will provide end-to-end SAP application support for Sales and Supplysystems across the relevant modules (e.g. SD, MM/PP/PM, Procurement, SAPauthorisations, integrated FI/CO areas), including issue troubleshooting,user training, data cleansing and post go-live support
• Furtheryou will maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, includingbusiness requirements, solution designs, configuration details anduser/training manuals
• Moreover,you will act as a business process specialist by maintaining a strongunderstanding of Sales and Supply processes including OTC, PTP, R2R andmaster data management
• Additionally,you will collaborate with Global IT teams (including GIMS, BASIS, ReleaseManagement, TCOE, Global Business Consulting), Shared Services, regionaland country IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful projectdelivery and support

• Forthis role you will have a degree in Information Technology, ComputerScience, Engineering, or other disciplines with strong interest inbusiness consulting and a solid understanding of IT and businessapplications
• Furtheryou have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in system implementations,particularly in SAP SD
• Furthermore,you have a strong business knowledge and understanding of Sales and Supplyprocesses
• Additionally,you have the ability to work in a global environment and travel asrequired
