Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in India is seeking a BSS Field Operation engineer (M1 level) based in Rewa. You will manage 24x7 O&M for BTS, transmission and microwave elements, ensuring uptime and meeting SLA commitments while coordinating with vendors and project teams.

The role requires BE in Electronics & Communication and 5-7 years of relevant experience in network BSS O&M, with strong communication and coordination skills. Location is Rewa, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Essential: Graduation – BE (Electronics and communication).
• Work ex: 5 - 7 years.
• Experience in network BSS O&M.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Operations & maintenance of transmission and BTS (LTE, WCDMA, GSM) equipment 24x7.
• Preventive Maintenance of BSS Network Elements (BTS & Microwave).
• Maintain network uptime as per defined SLA.
• Rectification of alarms (BTS/MW) within defined SLA.
• Coordination with IP vendors for Infra uptime and signoff.
• Manage cluster Inventory of BSS nodes.
• Coordinate with project and optimization teams for new rollout and network KPI improvement.
• Integration, Commissioning and troubleshooting (BTS-RBS2000, RBS6000 and MW).

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:
