Job summary

OCS India in Pune seeks a seasoned BMS/EPMS Engineer with 4+ years' experience in data centres to architect and implement control strategies, monitor KPIs, and coordinate testing and documentation.

The role requires a Diploma/BE in Electrical/ENTC and strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and project managers while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical/ENTC or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of data centre experience in a similar role.
• Location Pune, India.
• Expertise in BMS/EPMS systems, preferably in data centres or critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, fire/security systems, and SCADA/DCIM platforms.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement BMS control strategies: programming, graphics, alarms, trends.
• Monitor alarms and KPIs through centralized control rooms, dispatch corrective actions promptly.
• Coordinate system testing, fault diagnosis, performance optimization, and documentation (O&M, training).
• Monitor systems in real time; lead root-cause analysis and incident response.
• Direct BMS operations staff; assign tasks, handle scheduling, and evaluate performance.
• Develop and manage training programs and ensure documentation completion.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and project managers; manage change control, compliance, and procurement.
• Prepare technical documentation: schematics, sequences of operation, and O&M manuals.
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and change management protocols.
