Job description

What You Will Do

The primary responsibility for this role is to lead Building Management System global projects detailed engineering as per country specific standards from the India Engineering Center. Independent execution of the project throughout the lifecycle, handle first level escalation, follow processes, maintain required quality standards, and deliver on time to ensure customer satisfaction.

How You Will Do It

• Review MEP drawings and identify HVAC equipment, dampers and sensors
• Review control specifications and sequence of operations
• Generate initial review sheets and RFIs
• Create Bill of Material, select sensors, control valves, dampers, air flow stations, controllers, etc.
• Wire control devices and controllers, prepare terminations, interlock wiring
• Prepare I/O Summary
• Prepare BMS network architecture
• Program supervisory and DDC level controllers, prepare test plan, perform simulation and deliver commissioning package to field from India Engineering Center
• Ensure quality assurance and defect‑free hardware and software package delivery
• Adhere to all processes and guidelines to execute the project within the timeline

What We Look For

• BE/ME (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication)
• Knowledge of HVAC systems such as Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary pumping systems, Hot Water Systems, various types of AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, etc.
• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture with different types of operator workstations, supervisory controllers, DDC controllers, sensors & actuators, etc.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols
• Proficiency in wiring starters, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels
• Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC & BMS systems for infrastructure projects such as pharmaceuticals, airports, commercial buildings, hospitals
• Experience in industrial automation (PLC programming/SCADA) is an advantage
• Quick learner with a keen eye for problem solving
• Proficient in written and verbal communication
• Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills

Preferred

4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Building Automation Industry, BMS Design Engineering, or Industrial Automation.
