Job summary

GMR Group in Delhi is seeking an experienced Architect to join as Manager, supporting Head Architects in designing and executing luxury properties. You will collaborate across design, interiors, and project teams, ensuring compliance with building codes and robust documentation.

You will guide planning, budgeting, and client communication, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-end projects that meet Client expectations and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture from a reputed Institute.
• 10-12 years of experience designing luxury villas/resorts/properties.
• Proven ability to interact with clients and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Design Collaboration: contribute to design process with Head Architects for luxury properties.
• Technical Expertise: apply architectural principles, codes, and construction methods for compliance and feasibility.
• Interior Design Knowledge: work with interior teams to craft cohesive luxury spaces.
• Project Management: assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting to meet timelines and budgets.
• Client Communication: present concepts and progress to clients and address needs.
• Documentation: prepare drawings, specs, and material approvals to ensure accuracy.
• Software Proficiency: demonstrate AutoCAD and other design tools for efficiency.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team as a Manager. This role involves providing critical support to Head Architects in the design and execution of properties.

ORGANISATION CHART

This position will report to VP - Project Execution

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design Collaboration: Actively participate in the design process, providing expert input and support to Head Architects in conceptualizing, developing, and refining designs for luxury properties.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong command of architectural principles, construction methodologies, and relevant building codes to ensure project compliance and feasibility.
• Interior Design Knowledge: Collaborate with interior design teams to create cohesive and luxurious interior spaces that complement the overall architectural vision.
• Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Client Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and project progress to clients, addressing their needs and expectations.
• Documentation: Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to maintain project accuracy and quality.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in architectural software (AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

• Develop project design, ensuring sign-offs with the Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Communicate with Internal stakeholders i.e. Terminal Operations, Security, Commercial, Safety, ARFF and CFL teams for progress and developments of Retail & Commercial projects.
• Compliance of statutory requirements as required by law or Regulatory guidelines is met by all agencies.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

• Preparation of project brief, cost proposals and planning in coordination with Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Communicate with internal teams for design coordination and developments.
• Preparation of design, specifications and all material approvals in coordination with Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural & MEP and IT services
• Coordinating and monitoring of designs with external consultations and sub-consultants.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Architecture from a highly reputed Institute

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 10-12 years with experience in designing luxury villas / resorts / properties.
• He/She should have a proven track record in the industry and a deep understanding of architectural principles, interior design, and project management.
• Well versed in the following:
• Ability to interact with client.
• Familiar with execution of architectural / interior works..
• Knowledge of architectural and interior design and fit out.
