GMR Airports Infrastructure invites an accomplished Manager - Architect to strengthen its design and execution teams in Delhi. The role partners with Head Architects to shape luxury airport-related properties and associated spaces.

You will lead design collaboration, ensure compliance with building codes, mentor teams, manage schedules and budgets, and communicate progress to clients while producing precise drawings and specs using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture from a highly reputed Institute.
• 10-12 years with experience in designing luxury villas / resorts / properties.
• Deep understanding of architectural principles, interior design, and project management.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Manager - Architect

JOB PURPOSE

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team as a Manager. This role involves providing critical support to Head Architects in the design and execution of properties.

ORGANISATION CHART

This position will report to VP - Project Execution

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Design Collaboration: Actively participate in the design process, providing expert input and support to Head Architects in conceptualizing, developing, and refining designs for luxury properties.
2. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong command of architectural principles, construction methodologies, and relevant building codes to ensure project compliance and feasibility.
3. Interior Design Knowledge: Collaborate with interior design teams to create cohesive and luxurious interior spaces that complement the overall architectural vision.
4. Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
5. Client Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and project progress to clients, addressing their needs and expectations.
6. Documentation: Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to maintain project accuracy and quality.
7. Software Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in architectural software (AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

External - Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

• Develop project design, ensuring sign-offs with the Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Communicate with Internal stakeholders i.e. Terminal Operations, Security, Commercial, Safety, ARFF and CFL teams for progress and developments of Retail & Commercial projects.
• Compliance of statutory requirements as required by law or Regulatory guidelines is met by all agencies.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal - Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

• Preparation of project brief, cost proposals and planning in coordination with Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Communicate with internal teams for design coordination and developments.
• Preparation of design, specifications and all material approvals in coordination with Business Development Team and Concessionaires.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural & MEP and IT services
• Coordinating and monitoring of designs with external consultations and sub-consultants.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Architecture from a highly reputed Institute

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 10-12 years with experience in designing luxury villas / resorts / properties.
  
• He/She should have a proven track record in the industry and a deep understanding of architectural principles, interior design, and project management.
• Well versed in the following:
  • Ability to interact with client.
  • Familiar with execution of architectural / interior works..
  • Knowledge of architectural and interior design and fit out.
