Job summary

Uma Polymers Limited in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, seeks a Manager- Accounts & Finance to oversee financial statements, MIS reporting, and treasury tasks. The role requires Chartered Accountant with 4+ years post-qualification experience in manufacturing, and willingness to relocate to Jodhpur.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (BS, P&L, reports).
• Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses for senior management.
• Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GL scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor branch expenses and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders on finance matters.
• Identify process improvements and implement financial controls for efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and other financial reports.


• Generate, analyze, and present MIS reports, financial dashboards, and business performance reports for senior management.


• Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger scrutiny, and Bank Reconciliation Statements.


• Monitor and reconcile branch expenses and ensure accuracy of accounting records.


• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.


• Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.


• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders for finance-related matters.


• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement financial controls for operational efficiency.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Finalization of Accounts, and MIS Reporting.


• Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.


• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).


• 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Accounts & Finance. Experience in manufacturing related industries is essential.
