Job summary

Abi Energy Solutions is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead financial accounting, costing, and MIS for its energy sector operations in Sector 10, Uttar Pradesh. The role covers GL/AP/AR, GST, audits, and regulatory reporting.

You should have 7–10+ years in financial accounting, expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally), and strong knowledge of Ind‑AS or IFRS, GST, and working capital management. This position offers growth in a challenging EPC/infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, taxation, and auditing.
• Prior experience in Power Distribution, Electrical Manufacturing, Energy, or EPC/Infrastructure sectors is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally/QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) or IFRS, GST laws, and direct/indirect taxation.
• Understanding of working capital management and plant/manufacturing costing.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. Financial Accounting & Operations:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, accruals, provisions, and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Oversee vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and customer billings/invoicing (including GST/tax invoicing).

2. Costing & Manufacturing/Project Accounting (If applicable to T&D equipment/EPC):

• Handle product costing, inventory valuation, and fixed-asset accounting for manufacturing units or distribution projects.
• Track project-level expenditures, budget vs. actual costs, and work-in-progress (WIP).
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts, annual budgets, and cash flow projections.

3. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with local tax and corporate laws (e.g., GST, TDS, Provident Fund, Professional Tax, and Income Tax filings).
• Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and GST/tax assessments.
• Prepare statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow statement) in line with regulatory standards.

4. MIS & Financial Reporting

• Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
• Monitor working capital, fund utilization, and liquidity positions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
• Professional qualification such as MBA (Finance) preferred.

Experience:

• 7 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, taxation, and auditing.
