Job summary

Kaapro Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end financial records, GST compliance, and project costing for manufacturing and EPCC clients. You will handle Tally ERP 9, inventory, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate monthly closes and timely reporting.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with site and office teams, auditors, and CA professionals for audits and tax returns.

Qualifications

• B.Com with 3–6 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or construction sectors.
• Expert level in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 with inventory and GST modules.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Word; knowledge of GST, TDS, and payroll basics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain end‑to‑end accounting records in Tally (Journal Entries, Ledger, AP/AR, petty cash).
• Track daily operational expenses, vendor bills, and project milestones; manage cost centre tagging and multi-location mapping.
• Ensure GST compliance (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B), TDS filings, payroll deductions, and assist with audits.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Tally Advance Operations

Maintain end-to-end accounting records in Tally (Journal Entries, Ledger Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Petty Cash).
Perform advanced Tally tasks including Cost Center tagging, Inventory Tracking, Bill-wise allocations, and Multi-location warehouse mapping.
Reconcile Bank Statements, Vendor Bills, and Customer Accounts on a daily/weekly basis.
Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheet schedules for management review.

2. Operational & Project Progress Tracking

Work closely with workshop and site project leads to track daily operational expenses, material requisitions, and billing milestones.
Monitor project-wise budgets vs. actual expenditure to prevent cost overruns.
Track inventory movement, vendor invoices, purchase orders (POs), and site cash disbursements.
Provide daily/weekly operational progress reports to management highlighting cash inflows, pending receivables, and expense trends.

3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation

Ensure timely compliance and filing support for GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, E-Way Bills, Input Tax Credit reconciliation).
Manage TDS deduction, filing, and Form 16A generation.
Handle payroll accounting, PF, ESIC, and other mandatory statutory deductions.
Coordinate with external auditors, Tax Consultants, and CA teams during annual audits and tax returns.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com)
Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in manufacturing, industrial engineering, fabrication, or construction/EPCC companies.
Technical Skills:
Tally (Advanced): Expert level in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 (Inventory management, Cost Center analysis, GST module).
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis) and MS Word.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, vendor management, and industrial/project accounting practices.
Key Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to coordinate across cross-functional site and office teams.
