Job summary

PhonePe Limited is seeking a Manager, Accounting (Indirect Cost Analysis) in Bengaluru. You will lead a Finance & Accounting team, finalize indirect costs, and provide insights on variances and accruals.

You will collaborate with controllers and business leaders to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls. The role requires CA qualification with 5+ years in finance, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• CA qualification required or equivalent professional credential.
• Experience in indirect cost accounting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Finalize indirect costs, accruals and ensure accurate allocation across business units.
• Review and analyse indirect cost variances, providing actionable insights.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting with timeliness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with entity controllers, business leaders and business finance teams.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Support audits and respond to queries related to AP operations, indirect costs and reporting.
• Balance sheet schedules review and clearing open items.
• Hands-on knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Prior experience in driving process automation initiatives.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerialrole.
• Good understanding of indirect cost accounting, accruals, balance sheet and variance analysis.
• Proven experience in stakeholdermanagementand cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools
