Job summary

PhonePe Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate Manager - Business Finance to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Lending team. You will drive AOPs, variance analyses, profitability, and ROI, aligning with marketing and growth while ensuring data governance and accurate financial representation.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of FP&A or related experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities to influence decisions across functions.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in business finance, FP&A, or corporate accounting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Preferred: Experience in process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and owning the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), month plans, and outlooks.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis against plan and business targets to highlight gaps and key drivers.
• Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to evaluate ROI, track channel-wise CAC, and optimize acquisition budgets.
• Driving business profitability by collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve unit economics and optimize costs.
• Identify key levers for business growth and partner with business stakeholders to drive implementation.
• Oversee pricing structures while enforcing strict data governance to ensure rate-card compliance and margin protection.
• Partnering with the Financial Controllership team to ensure accurate financial representation of the business.

We're looking for an Associate Manager - Business Finance to join our Lending team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with a detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial processes while supporting strategic business decisions.
