Job summary

Blue Ocean Corporation India PVT LTD is seeking a Partnerships Manager to identify and establish collaborations with universities, colleges, and educational institutions across relevant markets. You will develop and maintain relationships with university leadership, departments, and faculty to drive strategic initiatives.

The role involves initiating MoUs, coordinating agreements, and exploring programs like professional certifications and executive education through university networks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in academic partnerships, university relations or strategic partnership management (≤140 chars).
• Experience developing collaborations with universities or educational institutions (≤140 chars).
• Ability to negotiate partnership agreements and coordinate MoUs (≤140 chars).
• Understanding of course distribution, executive education or corporate training programmes (≤140 chars).
• Strong networking, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills (≤140 chars).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with university leadership, academic departments, faculty, and decision-makers.
• Initiate, negotiate, and coordinate MoUs and partnership agreements for course distribution and academic collaborations.
• Explore opportunities to introduce training programmes, certifications, and industry-relevant courses through university networks.
• Develop partnership proposals, collaboration models, and distribution strategies aligned with business goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to finalize and implement partnership agreements.
• Identify opportunities for joint certification programmes, executive education, and workshops.
• Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle from prospecting to relationship management.
• Monitor performance, enrolments, revenue opportunities, and KPIs.
• Conduct regular meetings to review progress and strengthen collaboration.
• Research higher education landscape and market trends to support expansion.
• Maintain an updated database of academic partners and MoUs.

Explore opportunities to introduce Blue Ocean Corporation's training programmes, professional certifications, and industry-relevant courses through university networks.

Develop partnership proposals, collaboration models, and academic distribution strategies aligned with business objectives.

Coordinate with internal academic, sales, marketing, legal, and operations teams to finalise and implement partnership agreements.

Identify opportunities for joint certification programmes, executive education, professional development courses, workshops, and other collaborative initiatives.

Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from prospect identification and negotiations to agreement execution, implementation, and relationship management.

Monitor partnership performance, course enrolments, revenue opportunities, and other agreed KPIs.

Conduct regular meetings with partner institutions to review progress, identify new opportunities, and strengthen long-term collaboration.

Research the higher education landscape, market trends, and potential institutional partners to support business expansion.

Maintain an updated database of academic partners, MoUs, partnership activities, and performance reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Higher Education Management, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree will be an advantage.

Proven experience in academic partnerships, university relations, institutional business development, or strategic partnership management.

Experience developing collaborations with universities, colleges, or other educational institutions.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate partnership agreements, coordinate MoUs, and develop commercial or academic collaboration models.

Understanding of course distribution, professional certifications, executive education, or corporate training programmes will be an advantage.

Strong networking, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that support enrolment growth and revenue generation.

Good organisational, project management, and reporting skills.
