Job summary

Blue Ocean Corporation India PVT LTD seeks a strategic partnerships professional to drive university relations and academic collaborations. You will identify partners, negotiate MoUs, and coordinate programme delivery with academic leaders and internal teams.

You will build joint initiatives, manage end-to-end partnership lifecycles, monitor performance, and expand enrolment opportunities across markets. Strong networking and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Higher Education Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in academic partnerships, university relations, institutional business development, or strategic partnership management.
• Experience developing collaborations with universities, colleges, or other educational institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate partnership agreements, coordinate MoUs, and develop commercial or academic collaboration models.
• Strong networking, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions across relevant markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with university leadership, academic departments, faculty members, and key decision-makers.
• Initiate, negotiate, and coordinate MoUs and partnership agreements to support course distribution, programme delivery, and other academic collaborations.
• Explore opportunities to introduce training programmes, professional certifications, and industry-relevant courses through university networks.
• Develop partnership proposals, collaboration models, and academic distribution strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams to finalise and implement partnership agreements.
• Identify opportunities for joint certification programmes, executive education, professional development courses, workshops, and other collaborative initiatives.
• Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from prospect identification and negotiations to agreement execution, implementation, and relationship management.
• Monitor partnership performance, course enrolments, revenue opportunities, and other agreed KPIs.
• Conduct regular meetings with partner institutions to review progress, identify new opportunities, and strengthen long-term collaboration.
• Research the higher education landscape, market trends, and potential institutional partners to support business expansion.
• Maintain an updated database of academic partners, MoUs, partnership activities, and performance reports.

Requirements

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that support enrolment growth and revenue generation.
