Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description Wealth Management & Banking / Fundraising Professional

Position: Wealth Management & Banking / Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a Wealth Management and Banking professional with strong knowledge of financial markets, investments, and banking relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing investments across Equity Shares, NCDs, Bonds, and other investment products, along with the ability to independently handle bank liaisoning and fundraising activities for an NBFC.

The candidate should be comfortable interacting with senior officials of banks and financial institutions and, when required, visiting the Corporate Office/Head Office of banks in Mumbai to discuss and coordinate the company's funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Wealth Management

• Manage and monitor the company's investment portfolio across equity shares, NCDs, bonds, and other investment instruments.
• Evaluate investment opportunities based on risk, return, liquidity, tenure, and overall investment objectives.
• Conduct market research and track developments in equity and fixed-income markets.
• Monitor existing investments, including maturity dates, interest payments, corporate actions, and overall portfolio performance.
• Coordinate with brokers, wealth managers, fund houses, financial institutions, and other investment intermediaries.
• Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation relating to investments.
• Assist management in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities.

Bank Liaisoning & Fundraising - NBFC

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for the company's funding and banking requirements.
• Coordinate and independently handle fundraising activities for the NBFC, including discussions with banks regarding various funding options.
• Approach banks and financial institutions for term loans, working capital facilities, structured finance, or other suitable funding arrangements, as required.
• Prepare and coordinate the sharing of financial information, investment details, business plans, financial statements, and other documents required by banks for credit evaluation.
• Follow up with banks throughout the fundraising process, from initial discussion through sanction, documentation, and disbursement.
• Coordinate with internal finance/accounts teams to provide information and clarification required by banks.
• Visit Corporate Offices/Head Offices of banks, particularly in Mumbai, to meet senior banking officials and discuss the company's fundraising and funding requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior bank officials, relationship managers, credit teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Identify potential new banking relationships and explore opportunities for increasing the company's borrowing/funding lines.
• Monitor ongoing banking facilities and coordinate with banks for renewals, enhancements, restructuring, documentation, and other requirements.
• Maintain a database of banking relationships, funding proposals, sanctions, limits, pricing, and other relevant information.
