Job description

Wealth managers responsible for creating new client relationships as well as deepening relationships with the existing clients by offering them other financial products. Mainly targeting HNI customers (relationships of INR 5 lacs and above). Ensure customer due diligence and verifying the required KYC while onboarding the customer in person.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Individually acquire and nurture relationships of the bank through all banking products.
  • Generate new business to achieve defined sales targets.
  • Build and deepen relationships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and revenues.
  • Provide professional customer service to achieve a high percentage of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage relationships of an existing portfolio of clients to up‑sell and cross‑sell different products of the bank with a main focus on wealth.
  • Manage the portfolio to de‑risk against attrition and achieve stability of book.
  • Manage the key performance indicators at the highest level.
  • Have complete knowledge of the customer base in terms of profile, demographics, psychographics and assets in the bank and in other places.
  • Achieve the targets set in terms of product mix.
  • Achieve best‑in‑class productivity in order to maximize the efficacy of the sales process.
  • Achieve the budgeted cross‑sell targets.
  • Aggressive sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers through referrals.
  • Awareness of all regulatory and compliance guidelines and policies (particularly in relation to high value transactions).
  • Ensure compliance with these policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Any suspicious transaction must immediately be reported to the supervising officer.
  • Get additional new to the bank customers (NTBs).
  • Responsible to carry out enhanced due diligence, visit to residence or office wherever required.
  • Responsible for carrying customer due diligence and obtaining all required KYC of the customer (individual & non‑individual) while sourcing deposits and accounts to on‑board the customer.
Minimum Requirements of Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to communicate in English and vernacular / local / regional effectively.
  • Good networking skills and analytical skills.
  • Educational qualifications: minimum graduate (any stream). Postgraduate / MBA preferred.
  • Total experience: minimum 5 years in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of banking products and functioning.
  • Preferably from banking / NBFC domain.
  • Certifications (if any): IRDA.
