Job summary

WIKA Group in India is seeking a Manager - SCM & Procurement to oversee day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring timely material availability at optimal cost, quality and delivery performance.

You will lead supplier management, strategic sourcing, purchase order management, vendor development, inventory control, cost optimization and ensure procurement compliance across cross-functional teams including Sales, Production, Planning, Stores, Quality and Finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement & SCM in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to direct material procurement and supplier performance management.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Planning, Stores and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely material availability at optimum cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support supplier management, strategic sourcing, PO management, vendor development, inventory control, cost optimization and procurement compliance.
• Manage subcontracting/job work operations, identify and develop job work vendors, and monitor outsourced supplier performance.

Your activities

• Manager - SCM & Procurement will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities to ensure
• timely availability of materials for production at optimum cost, quality, and delivery performance. The role will support in supplier
• management, strategic sourcing, purchase order management, vendor development, inventory control, cost optimization, and
• procurement compliance.
• The candidate should have strong experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to direct material procurement,
• supplier negotiations, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Production, Planning, Stores, Quality,
• and Finance teams
• The candidate must possess hands-on experience in managing subcontracting/job work operations, including identification and
• development of job work vendors, outsourcing of manufacturing processes, capacity augmentation, commercial negotiations,
• material movement control, and monitoring of quality and delivery performance of outsourced suppliers.

Your profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• 10-15 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to Direct Material Procurement, Subcontracting/Job Work Management and Supplier Performance Management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material flow and cross-functional coordination with Production, Quality, Planning, Stores and Finance.
