Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance professional for Unit-4 in Morbi, Gujarat. The role reports to Head- Engineering & Maintenance and focuses on mechanical management of plant and machinery, including new tool development and industrial engineering practices.

Key duties include planning and monitoring preventive maintenance, managing PPM and OPEX for spares and consumables, coordinating with internal and external teams, and driving cost reduction

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Mechanical maintenance, preferably in a transformer factory.
• 5+ years' experience in a Lead Mechanical maintenance role.
• Sound knowledge of Plant & Equipment and mechanical engineering concepts.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software; adept at reporting production metrics.
• Strong decision-making skills with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3M resources (Man, Machine, Material) to ensure minimal downtime.
• Strive to reduce downtime.
• Escalate issues or obstacles affecting the PPM plan to Head E&M.
• Liaise with other managers or external agencies to ensure compliances.

Job description

He shall be responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance function for Unit-4.

The role requires mechanical management of Plant and machinery including new tool developement & Industrial Engineering practices. He shall be working with Head- Engineering & Maintenance. Brief responsibilities are as given below

• Support Head E&M for Annual Preventive Maintenance planning
• Support Head E&M for Monthly PPM planning
• Support Head E&M for OPEX planning for Spares & Consumables
• Executive & monitor PPM plans
• Resource allocation for PPM and routine shift management
• Monitoring of various costs and taking appropriate actions to reduce unit cost
• Training and developement of team members
• Material indenting & ERP up-dation
• Monitoring E&M KPIs, reviewing variances and taking corrective actions
• Liasoning and support for compliances

Your responsibilities:

Qualification & Experience:

• 1.BE/B-Tech (Elect/Mech) or Diploma (Elect/Mech)
• 2.Min 10 years' experience for BE/B-Tech or min 15 years' experience for Diploma
