Job summary

Ramoji Film City is offering a Management Trainee – Business Development (Film Vertical) internship in Mumbai/Chennai. You will support field-based BD activities, map the market, generate leads, and build strong relationships with producers, directors, and production houses to drive shooting projects at the Film City.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a BBA/MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Media & Entertainment, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills,

Job Description:

We are seeking energetic, presentable, and proactive Business Development – Management Trainees to support Ramoji Film City's Film Vertical in strengthening engagement with the content production ecosystem. This is a field-intensive internship focused on market mapping, lead generation, and relationship building with producers, directors, production houses, and other key industry stakeholders. Management Trainees will work closely with the Business Development team to generate qualified leads, build a comprehensive industry database, and support business development initiatives for shooting projects at Ramoji Film City. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-world business development within the Indian Film and OTT industry, providing a strong learning experience and a pathway for high-performing candidates to be considered for full-time opportunities.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates currently pursuing or recently completed a BBA/MBA specializing in Sales, Marketing, or Media & Entertainment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Comfortable with extensive field work and client interactions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).

Basic knowledge of presentation design tools such as Canva.

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.

Personality & Behavioural Traits:

Presentable, well-groomed, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Passionate about films, web series, OTT platforms, and the content production ecosystem.

Quick learner with a proactive and positive attitude.

Ethical, relationship-focused approach to business development.

Preferred:

Previous internship or project experience in Sales, Marketing, Media, or Entertainment. Basic understanding of the content production value chain.
