Job summary

Rise & Shine Insulation And Fire Protection in India seeks a junior Civil Engineer to assist site engineers in supervising daily construction activities on site in Chittoor district. The role involves reading civil drawings, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring material quality and safety procedures are followed.

The candidate will support quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and maintain documentation while learning project planning and construction management practices

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Freshers or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work at the assigned construction site.

Responsibilities

• Assist site engineers in supervising daily construction activities.
• Monitor excavation, foundation, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
• Read and understand civil engineering drawings under guidance of senior engineers.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, workers and vendors.
• Assist in checking the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Monitor material consumption and maintain inventory records.
• Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and use PPE.
• Assist in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and material calculations.
• Maintain site documentation, labour attendance, and inspection records.
• Report construction delays, material shortages, and quality issues to the reporting manager.
• Learn project planning, execution, and construction management practices.
