Job summary

Masters’ Union School of Business, Gurugram, is seeking a passionate Maker Educator to join the Makerspace team. You will design and deliver immersive programs in electronics, robotics, Arduino, and 3D design, guiding learners from concept to working prototype in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will collaborate with learners and faculty to foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical innovation through project-based learning, while ensuring safety and best practices across the makerspace.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of maker education or hands-on teaching.
  • Proficiency in Arduino, electronics, robotics, and 3D printing.
  • Working knowledge of 3D design software and fabrication tools.
  • Engineering or science degree required.
  • Excellent communication and ability to simplify concepts.
  • Passion for experiential, project-based learning and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering hands-on maker workshops in Arduino, electronics, robotics, and 3D printing.
  • Guiding students and professionals through the end-to-end project lifecycle, from ideation to prototyping.
  • Developing and curating curriculum content, training modules, project kits, and instructional guides aligned with maker education objectives.
  • Facilitating experiential learning by encouraging creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving.
  • Supporting learners in effectively using fabrication tools, electronics components, and relevant software.
  • Assisting in maintaining makerspace equipment and ensure adherence to safety and lab best practices.
  • Collaborating with academic teams and Makerspace leadership to enhance learning outcomes and workshop effectiveness.
  • Continuously improving workshop content based on learner feedback and emerging maker technologies.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Maker Educator to join the Makerspace team at Masters’ Union School of Business, Gurugram. In this role, you will design and deliver immersive, experiential learning programs in electronics, robotics, Arduino, and 3D design. You will work closely with learners, faculty, and the Makerspace leadership to foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical innovation through project-based learning. The role requires strong technical expertise, learner engagement skills, and the ability to guide participants from concept to working prototype in a fast-paced, lab-driven environment.

Specifically, this role will involve
  • Designing and delivering hands-on maker workshops in Arduino, electronics, robotics, and 3D printing.
  • Guiding students and professionals through the end-to-end project lifecycle, from ideation to prototyping.
  • Developing and curating curriculum content, training modules, project kits, and instructional guides aligned with maker education objectives.
  • Facilitating experiential learning by encouraging creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving.

Ideal candidate will have
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in maker education, electronics, robotics, or related hands-on teaching roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Arduino, electronics, robotics concepts, and 3D printing.
  • Working knowledge of 3D design software and basic fabrication tools.
  • Degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
  • Passion for experiential, project-based learning and mentoring.
