Aufgaben

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders through the CMMS with accurate records.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, low-voltage circuits, pneumatic systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe maintenance.
• Assist installation, qualification, and validation with engineers.
• Maintain 5S standards in workshops and on the production floor.
• Support RCA investigations to prevent recurring failures.
• Ensure safety, environmental and operational procedures are followed.
• Identify spare parts and support parts availability for production continuity.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
• Work rotating shifts in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Description

This position is ideal for maintenance professionals to join the Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician, supporting manufacturing operations through the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Partnering with Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Production teams, you’ll perform hands-on troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and production continuity. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders through the CMMS while maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical panels, low-voltage control circuits, pneumaticsystems, and mechanical equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and isolation protocols to ensure safe execution ofmaintenance activities.
• Support Maintenance Engineers and Automation Engineers during equipment installation,qualification, and validation activities.
• Maintain 5S standards across maintenance workshops, tool storage areas, and production floorenvironments.
• Perform equipment inspections and quality checks to identify maintenance requirements andspare part needs.
• Assist in identifying replacement parts and maintaining spare parts availability to supportproduction continuity.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and failure analysis activities to preventrecurring equipment breakdowns.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while reporting unsafeconditions promptly.
• Support manufacturing operations through effective maintenance practices that enhanceequipment reliability and uptime.
• Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain and promote 5S standards within maintenance work areas.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Education: ITI Certification in Electrician, Fitter, Mechatronics Technician, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, or other high-precision manufacturing industries is preferred.

Skills: Strong practical knowledge of industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatic systems, maintenance tools, multi-meters, schematic reading, CMMS systems, and equipment repair activities. Familiarity with electrical and plant safety requirements is essential.

Communication: Functional English communication skills with the ability to read technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and complete CMMS entries. Knowledge of Telugu and/or Hindi is advantageous for shop floor collaboration.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with maintenance, engineering, automation, and production teams while maintaining focus during high-pressure production situations and supporting operational continuity.

Complementary skills

• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as Medical Devices,Pharmaceuticals, or Electronics.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment failure investigation techniques.
• Understanding of CMMS systems and maintenance documentation practices.
