Job summary

Schreiber Dynamix Dairies in Fazilka, Punjab is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Operation Maintenance of Utilities across shifts, focusing on water treatment, boilers, and air systems. This role ensures safe, reliable operations and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You will plan daily work, monitor stock, coordinate with production, attend breakdowns, maintain records, and drive 5S/HACCP compliance while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of utility machineries and systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of Water treatment plant and storage tanks.
• Ensure RAW RO availability for processing per SOPs.
• Oversee equipment related to water treatment and storage.
• Plan daily water treatment work across shifts; coordinate with Utility maintenance.
• Monitor stock of Raw water and arrange alternate supplies if needed.
• Maintain stock of spare parts and raise PRs in consultation with TA/TL.
• Monitor chemical analysis and treatment of Raw RO water.
• Supervise maintenance of Boilers, Refrigeration, Water treatment and Air compressors.
• Attend machinery breakdowns promptly and record actions.
• Coordinate with Production shift for UHT utility availability.
• Keep records of water, fuel and consumables stock.
• Ensure ISO HACCP compliance during shifts and day-to-day activities.
• Contribute to 5S and process improvement initiatives.

Job Category: Manufacturing Operations Job Family: Repair Maintenance

This position is primarily responsible to supervise the Operation Maintenance of all the Utilities in respective shifts and ensure continued availability of all the Utilities all times. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports maintenance plans, resolves technical issues, and contributes to equipment availability in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

What you ll do

• Supervise and manage for smooth and effective operation and maintenance of the Water treatment plant and water storage tanks.
• Ensure availability of Raw RO to process at all the times at the specified parameters as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of all the equipment s and systems related to water treatment and storage.
• Plan and execute day to day work for water treatment section in all the shifts. and co-ordinate with Utility maintenance section.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of Raw water and make alternative arrangements ie Tankers/Bore well etc in case of any shortfall through regular source of supply.
• Maintain stock levels of spare parts consumables and raise purchase requisitions accordingly in consultation with TA/TL.
• Monitor and ensure proper chemical analysis and treatment of Raw RO water in order to maintain requisite quality.
• Supervise operation and maintenance of all the Utilities ie Boiler, Refrigeration, Water treatment and Air compressor.
• Initiate to attend all the machinery break downs in minimum possible time.
• Execute the work assigned by In-charge Utility Maintenance for the shift and maintain records of the job.
• Take regular rounds and ensure that all the Utility operations are normal.
• Co-ordination with Production shift in-charges of UHT plant to confirm availability of Utility services.
• Keep a record of water, fuel and consumables stock.
• Keep Utility in-charge / respective section in-charges informed about happenings during the shift.
• Ensure compliance of ISO HACCP during day to day / shift activities.
• Ensure continuous improvement with regards to maintenance / Human Food safety.
• Strive towards the common goals of the organization in consultation with Team advisor.
• Execution of process excellence ideas in consultation TA/TL Utility Maintenance.
• Sustain 5S concept.

What you will need to succeed

• B. Tech Mechanical
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance
• Good knowledge about operation and troubleshooting of Utility machineries and systems.
• Practical knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methods
• Basic computer skills for maintenance systems, documentation, and reporting
• Reliability, responsibility, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Willingness to work in physically demanding and operational plant environments
