Job summary

DTSS in India seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to operate and maintain industrial utility systems, including HVAC, chillers, pumps, and water treatment. You will troubleshoot issues, follow safety and environmental norms, and document activities.

You will coordinate with production and maintenance teams, manage spare parts, and support energy-saving initiatives, CAPA, and annual shutdowns. The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and ability to read drawings and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical utility systems.
• Ability to perform preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance.
• Reading and interpreting P&IDs and drawings.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utility equipment (compressors, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, pumps, motors, pipelines).
• Perform preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance of utility systems.
• Monitor parameters like pressure, temperature, flow and energy use for optimal performance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted utility supply.
• Prepare maintenance logs, checklists, SOPs, and breakdown reports.
• Identify recurring issues and implement CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory norms and environmental regulations.
• Support shutdowns, overhauls, and annual maintenance activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory related to utility equipment.
• Assist in energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Water treatment (RO, softener, ETP/STP)
• Perform preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance of utility systems.
• Monitor utility parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, energy consumption) and ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted utility supply.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, checklists, SOPs, and breakdown reports.
• Identify recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and environmental regulations.
• Support utility shutdowns, overhauls, and annual maintenance activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory related to utility equipment.
• Assist in energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
