Role Description

The Maintenance Mechanic role is a full-time, on‑site position based in Durg. The Maintenance Mechanic will inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, carrying out corrective repairs, and supporting industrial maintenance activities on the production floor. The role also involves documenting maintenance work, coordinating with production and safety teams, and following company standards and regulatory requirements. The individual will help minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Ability to perform Corrective Maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety practices, tools, and standard operating procedures.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Durg and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across shifts as needed.
