Job summary

JobItUs seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 10–12 years of direct field maintenance experience for chemical process plant equipment and related utilities. The role emphasizes hands-on work on pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, jacketed vessels, heat exchangers, lubrication, bearings and seals, welding, valves, boiler, chiller, cooling towers, insulation and painting.

Strong familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance systems is required.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of direct field maintenance experience in chemical process plant equipment.
• Exposure to pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, jacketed vessels, heat exchangers, lubrication, bearings, seals, welding, valves, boiler, chiller, cooling towers, insulation, painting.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance systems is important.
• Project experience in handling equipment, piping fabrication/erection, piping welding standards, NDT, equipment erection, testing, and quality control.

Experience exposure essential in pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, jacketed vessels, heat exchangers, lubrication, bearings, mechanical seals, welding, valves, boiler, chiller, cooling towers, insulation, painting, etc.

Familiarity with the preventive & predictive maintenance system is also important.

Project experience favorable such as handling equipment, fabrication and erection of piping, familiarity with piping welding standards, NDT, equipment erection work, testing, quality control, etc.
