Job summary

Rhea Healthcare in Bengaluru (Sarjapur) is seeking a Maintenance Incharge to oversee the engineering department responsible for generators, transformers, UPS, boilers, AC systems, water management, waste treatment, kitchen equipment, fire safety and building infrastructure.

You will ensure preventive maintenance, coordinate with facilities and departments on maintenance needs, and maintain AMC documentation with cost details.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital/clinical maintenance is preferable.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of critical hospital equipment (generators, transformers, UPS, boilers, HVAC, water management).
• Ensure AMC documentation with maintenance schedules, contract periods and cost details.
• Coordinate with facilities, FD and other departments on maintenance-related works.
• Ensure safety at work and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Allocate technicians and duty rosters for 24x7 operations; monitor energy and water savings.
• Coordinate with local authorities for required compliances.
• Oversee retrofits/renovations coordination between projects team and vendors.

Job description

We are hiring for Maintenance Incharge :

Location : Sarjapur (Sri Narayana Nagar - new branch)

Role & responsibilities

Engineering department covering all critical equipment such as:

• Generators
• Transformers
• UPS system
• Gas banks
• Boilers
• AC systems: temperatures to be maintained in critical areas
• Water Management
• Sewage & waste treatment
• Bio medical treatment plant
• Kitchen equipment
• Fire prevention equipment
• Building Infrastructure
• Upkeep of the facility
• Mandatory & statutory compliances

Understand the hospital preparedness for breakdown of equipment

Support provided for operational departments

Coordination with the FD & concerned departments on maintenance related works / requirements.

To ensure safety at work at any given time

AMC chart / documentation to be maintained with periodical preventive maintenance schedule, period of contract, cost details etc. for all equipments which are under AMC.

Service reports documentation

Monthly maintenance & consumption reports to be submitted to GM at HO.

Allocation of technicians & duty rosters for 24 x 7 hassle free operations

Implementation / Monitoring of Electricity & water savings methods on day-to-day basis

Coordination with Local authorities for compliances as required

All Retrofits / Renovations coordination for execution between projects team & vendors in the respective units.
