JobItUs in Bharuch - Jhagadia seeks a Maintenance Head with 15-20 years in chemical plant maintenance. You will lead mechanical, electrical and utility maintenance, schedule preventive and breakdown work, and ensure safe, compliant operations across boilers, chillers and process equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production, EHS and Engineering teams, managing technicians and contractors, and optimizing spare parts usage while controlling costs.

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering.
15–20 years of experience in chemical plant maintenance.
Experience with mechanical, electrical and utility maintenance.
Familiarity with reactors, pumps, agitators, compressors and piping.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical, electrical and utility maintenance activities.
Plan preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Maintain reactors, pumps, agitators, compressors, gearboxes, valves, pipelines and other process equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Coordinate with Production, EHS and Engineering teams for maintenance activities.
Monitor maintenance schedules, spare parts and critical equipment.
Ensure proper maintenance of boilers, chillers and utility systems.
Manage maintenance contractors and technicians on site.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO and chemical plant safety standards.
Support shutdowns, annual maintenance and plant modifications.
Identify recurring equipment problems and implement RCA and corrective actions.
Control maintenance costs and optimize manpower and spare parts usage.

Maintain reactors, pumps, agitators, compressors, gearboxes, valves, pipelines and other process equipment.
