Job summary

JobItUs in Silvassa is seeking a Maintenance Executive to oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant equipment in a plastics manufacturing setting. You will monitor performance, address breakdowns, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, a mechanical or electrical diploma/engineering, and knowledge of CMMS and maintenance software. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, records, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and utility-related issues.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, maintenance software).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare maintenance reports and equipment performance data.
