Job summary

TNZ Cinemas in Itanagar is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across cinema premises, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations.

You will inspect electrical wiring and panels, monitor DG sets and UPS backups, and support cinema screen and HVAC electrical components. The role requires ITI or Diploma and extensive hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 25 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in cinemas or similar venues.
• Practical knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and the use of maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs as required.
• Maintain and monitor DG sets, UPS, power backup systems, and related electrical equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of cinema screens, projection-related electrical systems, HVAC electrical components, and other operational equipment.
• Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and records of repairs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major electrical repairs.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
