Job summary

Som Autotech in India is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform comprehensive maintenance on CNC, VMC, HMC, and related equipment.

You will lead PM programs, troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic domains, and ensure safety and documented records via CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, SPM, washing, and auxiliary machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and CNC-related issues to restore equipment quickly.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure 100% PM compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring machine failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor MTBF, MTTR, machine availability, and maintenance KPIs to improve equipment performance.
• Coordinate machine installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown history, spare parts inventory, and equipment documentation through CMMS or maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, LOTO procedures, TPM, 5S, and statutory maintenance requirements.
