Job summary

Essilor requires an experienced maintenance fitter for on-site support in the manufacturing environment. The role focuses on upkeep of pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment, emphasizing pneumatic and hydraulic systems and thorough preventive maintenance.

The candidate should have 6–10 years of hands-on experience, be able to work in shifts, and adhere to safety standards while ensuring minimal downtime and reliable operation of critical machinery.

Qualifications

• ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical with relevant shop-floor maintenance experience.
• 6–10 years of work experience in machine maintenance and industrial equipment.
• Experience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems with preventive/breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and repair pumps, motors, valves and other machinery.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
• Dismantle and assemble mechanical components for repair or replacement.
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Qualification:------- ITI Fitter/Diploma Mechanical

Work Experience:--- 6 to10 years

Responsibility : Machine maintenance( Expertise on Pneumatic and Hydraulic machines)

1. Technical Skills: Expertise in pumps, motors, valves, Pneumatic, chillers, Pipelines, and industrial Maintenance. Preferable person who has experience of handling Preventive maintenance and Breakdown maintenance of Machines (e.g. swaging m/c, Power press, CNC m/c, soldering, electro-plating, Paint shop maintenance).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Good Behavior with cross-functional teams to maintain discipline at shop floor .
2. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
3. Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct timely repairs on pumps, motors, valves, and other machinery.
4. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
5. Dismantle and assemble mechanical components for repair or replacement.
6. Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems for smooth operations.
7. Follow safety procedures and industry standards while working at machines.
