Job summary

Yeemak Private Limited is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for its Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh facility. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with press-shop machinery and hydraulic presses, along with strong preventive and breakdown maintenance skills.

You will work to minimize downtime, ensure machine availability, and coordinate closely with production teams to sustain reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in mechanical or machine maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in press-shop machinery and hydraulic presses.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to prepare and maintain maintenance trouble sheets and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical and machine maintenance activities in the press shop.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of press-shop machinery.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic presses and related hydraulic systems, including equipment up to 250-ton capacity.
• Identify mechanical failures and carry out root cause analysis to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance trouble sheets, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and machine history records.
• Ensure machine availability, minimize downtime, and improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Manage maintenance spares and follow safety procedures during maintenance activities.
